Re-create with a LUMIPro Contest!

I have been a bad Miss LUMPro, and it has been far too long since I visited with you guys, so I thought I would make it up to. How my going to do that, you ask. With a LUMIPro contest!

You guys have been asking for one, and I think this would be a great time to have some fun with it. So here's how it's going to work...

Stefan recently did a post about showing you a shot from start to finish, you can find that post here. The idea of this contest is to re-create your own version of this shot.

 (Without the logo pf course!)

The goal of the contest is not to do an exact re-creation, but to have fun with the concept. Use this shot as your inspiration. I know I wouldn't mind seeing a guy or two on a dance pole -winks-

To enter the contest you must upload your photo to LUMIPro's Flickr Group with the title "A Re-Creation with LUMIPro". Please make sure you use that title exactly. (It will make it easier for us to find contest entries). You're welcome to submit as many photos as you like.

There are only a couple of rules:
You must be a LUMIPro owner to enter.
You must use LUMIPro in each photo you enter.
We must be able to tell that it was inspired by the photo in this blog post.
The last day you can post an entry is June 28, 2016

I know you all must be dying to know what the prizes are so here we go...
1st Place: 5,000 Lindens
2nd Place: 3,500 Lindens
3rd Place: 2,000 Lindens
If we get a good number of entries we will also pick one person to receive a LUMIPro gift certificate that they can give to a friend.

Stefan and I cannot wait to see what you guys come up with! Remember to have fun, and of course use your favorite photography tool. Don't forget you have until June 28th!

Until next time... Happy Shooting!

Miss LUMIPro being her distracting self in my workshop

Saturday Morning Project

Every once in a while i get inspiration from a real life photo and go off to recreate it on Second Life.  Thought I'd share the project with you...

Here was the photo I wanted to get close to:

I started with a commercial pose purchased pose from evoLove and then used the Anypose to tweak the pose.

[evoLove] - Private Dancer No4

Lighting was with a single projector and the three ball lights.  the projector was shot with a medium spotlight with the spherical gobo (#23).

The scene LUMIPro save/restore was super useful as i explored various camera angles and could go back and forth until I found what I liked.

About 15 minute shopping for the pose, 15 minutes tweaking the pose, 10 minutes hair,  15 minutes lighting and shooting, 15 minutes in photoshop.

Although it only somewhat matches the initial target Real Life photo, the inspiration helps.

See how cool SL is!??
