2017 HUD Version 2 Update Released Today!

Samantha and I are happy to announce an update to the 2017 HUD.  This update was about refining a few features and fixing a few bugs.

To update to the new HUD just wear your LUMIPro 2017 (not the beta). If you have issues updating try reseting your scripts.

To transfer your animations and presets just use the backup/restore server and copy all your animations and scenes from the old HUD to the backup server then wear the new HUD and select restore.    Here is a video describing how to use the backup/restore server (the video is slightly older and I've changed the look and feel of the server, but it works the same).

I want to give a special thanks to the best testers. Can't do my job without you.  A special call out to Graeme Little for offering several bug sightings!

Change list (in no particular order)

  • options->rez backup server fixed
  • Saving a scene removes the old scene name
  • Clicking a sitball no longer resets location
  • Cycling the power button no longer shows the balls and preserves alpha
  • Large pose file names now shows better on the display menus
  • Pixel cleanup on the sliders
  • Deleting a single pose no longer resets to the top of the list
  • Scene checks animation exists and issues pop-up if not vs throwing a script error
  • Sit ball joystick in/out no longer moves the projector
  • Projector menu now added to final LCD location
  • Wearing the backup server no longer displays yellow text on a teleport
  • Cataloging will stop if close to memory full
  • Pressing the animation stop button doesn’t request an animation unless there are outstanding poses
  • Attempted to reduce texture sizes to prevent slow performance message (still there sadly)
  • After filing all 10 models the HUD gracefully is full
  • Scene restore of a camera only position no longer does an eye animation request to the model.
  • Delete All now works with pose filters (example: you can now delete all poses with the word “SIT” in them.
  • Faster post catalog reset with a large number of animations
  • New feature:  You can transfer a scene to a friend with a LUMIPro
  • Now you can type “YES!” to deleting an animation and you won’t be asked each time
  • The joystick now selects projector when selecting the black ball on the color menu (convenience)
  • help notecard updated
  • change server updates to the new release (won’t work on beta, ignore the update message)

A Fabulous New LUMIPro Spotlight!

*** As you walk into the room you see Samantha placing photo frames on the wall. She is so engrossed in what she's doing it takes her a moment to realize you are there. ***

Oh hello everyone! I have missed you all, pesky vacations! When I got back, I was so impressed with all of the great photography, I decided it's time for another spotlight. So let's get started!

Dixmix Gallery and LUMIPro Present "Switch On The Lights"!

*** She walks in carrying a big easel after sitting it next to the desk she turns toward you with a smile. ***

Hello, everybody! It has been a little while I hope everyone has been taking some great photos to lead into the spring season. Spring, however, is not the reason I brought you here today. LUMIPro is excited to be working with Dixmix Gallery. Together we are bringing you the "Switch On The Lights " art exhibit!

The photos on display are a collection of work created by various LUMIPro artists. I will not ruin the surprise by telling you who the artist are; you will have to come see the show.

*** Winks ***

If you have never been to the Dixmix Gallery I strongly encourage you to go take a peek. Here's a little more information about the gallery and their team from Dixmix himself...

The DiXmiX Gallery offers a large foyer area and three halls for art displays – the Black and the White Gallery Halls with the Grey Gallery linking them. Art in these halls may be split over two levels, the ground floor and a mezzanine area, while a music venue, The Atom completes the major facilities.
DiXmiX Gallery with his modernist architecture is a place extremely realistic dedicated to Art, Photography, and Music where you can hang out with nice people.
Events are organized several times a month
Designed by Megan Prumier and curated by Dixmix Source, both Co-owner respectively known as the cute boss and the other boss.
Photographers and bloggers are invited to post their pictures shoot in the gallery’s Flickr Group.

This is by far one of my favorite galleries. The show will be taking place on April 8th at 12 PM SLT. I hope that we can see all of you there to support our artists and their beautiful work. Don't forget to dress to impress! I hope to see you all there tomorrow.

Until then... Happy Shooting!
