Stay tuned !

LUMIPro is about to bring you a rainbow!

We are nearly finished with the beta and thank you to all of our beta testers fro your help and feedback!

FROM THE DESK OF STEFAN:

This is my 6th beta program over 4 years for LUMIPro and when this is released I'll call it V3.3 (V3.2 is whats out now).

I've been thinking long and hard about whats next for LUMIPro.  After recording a few of my own videos as well as talking with other customers, frankly I decided it was time to expand upon the use of color in lighting.

I studied several options for color pickers and got pretty much every color matching hud I could get my hands on.  Talked with several people who use them for feedback.

Realizing that we're dealing with a very broad spectrum of people online from beginners to techies to RL photographers, I've been experimenting with a color user interface that made sense.  After much discussion including discussing with a couple RL theatrical lighting friends, I decided to include several of the RL color gel catalogs as part of the user interface and a more simple RGB interface for the techies.  I frankly like the color catalogs as there is 40+ years of picking these colors based on their success in real situations.

I've significantly reworked the color interface.  I'm going to not say another word and see if you all can figure it out.

Are you ready to take your photos to the next level!

Gallery Assis in Association with LUMIPro

Saturday 24th August 2013 at Noon SLT

Theme - Steampunk Era - Join Mad Scientists Mjshotboy Skytower and Floyd Arun in their nutty laboratory.

Karol Lyric "Five"

Five was inspired by the biblical verse from the "Canticles" (also known as the "Song of Songs," or "Song of Solomon"): "He thrust his hand into the opening, and my inmost being yearned. I arose to open to my beloved, and my hands dripped with myrrh, my fingers with liquid myrrh, upon the handles of the bolt." I find that passage to be beautiful, harmonious, deeply sexual, and quite Lyrical :-)

Bachi Cheng "Moments"

Bachi is a Real Life Painter
I love to paint Moments. Moments of life, Moments of Love, Moments so deep that you never want to forget them, Moments at the edge of orgasm or despair, just life like we ought to live it, plainly.
let me take you in the core of my Art
painting is my life,
building my passion
and music is in my blood

Sydney Garnet "Restraint"

Restraint for Gallery Assis

Restraint can be given or imposed.  It can come from within, or be thrust upon us - for pain and for pleasure.  Like all good things, there is a fine line between not enough and too much, and some people spend their whole life in pursuit of that elusive balance.  Words given away in haste cannot be recovered in leisure.  With trust, restraint used for pleasure draws you closer.  Used correctly, restraint can avoid misunderstandings or hurt feelings,  illustrate the bond between two people,  and in the end bring bring fulfillment of a magnitude impossible without the total commitment of two linked hearts.  But restraint has a dark side; it can create victims, as well as bullies.  The wisdom comes from learning when to give in, and when to let go.

Gallery Assis in Association with LUMIPro

Gallery Assis in Association with LUMIPro presents:

Joseph Nussbaum "Intimacy"

This show presents a close view of intimacy, holding, love making, in all different varieties. Intimacy is an aspect of life that is important; it is something precious and something we should never lose. I have attempted to show the closeness of two people, focusing on the feelings and the balance of the portrait.

Erik Bayn L'Homme

A series about pure masculinity, to show the male body at its best. It's inspired by real photographs but arranged with an erotic touch and a sensual feeling !

Sabbian Paine "Dreams of Flesh and Water"

Dreams of Flesh and Water is about the fears and desires we often experience in dreams and the surreal, haunting and almost colorless images they often paint in our mind. This series is based on my own dreams and desires which often manifest themselves in or near water and the fear of sinking and what lurks beneath the surface coupled with the the erotic desires of bare flesh in water.

Opens Saturday 17th August at Noon SLT

Assis Gallery Sponsored by LUMIPro Presents

15th June @ 12PM SLT

Dress in costume !

Your theme for this opening is Rocky Horror Picture Show!

Gallery Assis hosts some of the BEST in Second Life.

Your artists are :

Burk Bode - "Neon"

http://www.flickr.com/photos/40649214@N08/8708877158/

Pablo Picasso said "Everything you can imagine is real." He is right. Living in a world that is completely created from scratch just by the imagination of its residents you experience this. A place where you can invent yourself new every day and for a creative person a place where you MUST create yourself new every single day.

Whiskey Monday "Someone Else's Light"

http://www.flickr.com/photos/whiskeymonday/9019748763/

Exploring the idea of personal space, this series was shot in other people's homes. The feeling of vulnerability while standing nude in someone else's space was surprising. I'm thankful for those who opened their homes to me.

Gregor Tenk "Shoegasm"

http://www.flickr.com/photos/gpsss-sisters/8597102566/

A series dedicated to women's obsession with shoes. What is this fascination with shoes, why the obsession? I'm a man and can offer no insight into the mind of a woman, nor would I ever dare to, but I can tell you there is nothing more pleasing then to see my woman in a new pair of shoes, the instant sex appeal of her freshly found confidence. Maybe it's the heels, making her taller that instills the confidence when a new shoe is slid on. maybe it's knowing it's something new, an accessory to compliment the natural beauty? I have no clue, but this series is for woman, their shoes & the men that love them.

Floraclayflower Beeswing "Pulvarized - Part 2"

http://www.flickr.com/photos/floraclayflower/9028474079/

The story of a male embracing, dancing and slowly loosing himself and his identity into a cloud of dust. Finally he disappears completely. Nothing is left but an idea, a faint colour, a possibility. Out of that something re-assembles. A figure heaves and shakes and feels it's way back out, but the body that emerges is the body of a woman.
